Curry

Chicken Karahi

The name karhai comes from the name of the wok that is used to cook karhai in. The word curry is then an extension of karhai. This is where curry began. Tomato based sauce, and heavier on the spices and flavour, this is the classical dish to have with some naan.

Veal Korma

A curry dish that is veal braised with yoghurt, onions, coriander, and cumin. This is all done slowly so that the juices of the meat itself is allowed to become part of the curry.

Goat Korma

Similar to the veal korma, this is another braised curry that is braised with yoghurt, onions, coriander, and a variety of spices. The use of fatty goat to develop the curry makes for a thicker sauce.

The national dish of Pakistan, nihari is beef shank cooked overnight into a thick and spicy stew. Garnish this off with green chili and ginger; squeeze some lemons on top, and there is nothing else like it.
